The Best Of Willie Nelson is a compilation album that features some of the greatest hits by American singer-songwriter Willie Nelson. The album, released in 1973, showcases the best of Nelson's work from his early career up to that point.

The album opens with the classic country ballad "Funny How Time Slips Away," which sets the tone for the rest of the record. Nelson's smooth, soulful vocals and unique guitar playing are on full display throughout the album, and fans of his music will find much to enjoy here.

Other standout tracks on the album include "Hello Walls," "Night Life," and "Crazy," which was famously covered by Patsy Cline. The album also features collaborations with other country music legends, such as Waylon Jennings and Ray Price.

I hear this song, realize I am no longer young, and I realize TIME does slip away. Do not waste it. Grab every day as your last. Squeeze everything out of each day. Hug your spouse, kids, the neighbors, your friends. We are here but a while and then gone. Make a lot of fond memories. Smile always, it is free and people appreciate it.
