American gospel group founded in Chicago in 1952. In 1976 the lineup included founding members Clay Graham, Cleave Graham, and Major Roberson, with the additions of Bobby McDougle, Michael Atkins, and Ben Chandler. Not to be confused with the much earlier gospel group by the same name that recorded only 6 songs in 1927:

The Jubes were masters of their universe by the time of this record. I feel "Put on your shoes" is a better overall record simply because of the song selection & song cycle. They are the last standing giants of the age of the most powerful music ever recorded. The Jubes are simply one word... Genius.
