Review by Joshua Adams

Diamonds' latest album, "Walking Along Eternal Lovers," is a beautiful collection of love songs that will make listeners feel like they are walking on clouds. The album features a mix of upbeat and slow-tempo tracks, all of which showcase the band's impressive musical skills and heartfelt lyrics.

One standout track on the album is "Heartbreak on the Dancefloor," a catchy tune that will have listeners tapping their feet and singing along in no time. Another standout track is "Eternal Love," a slower ballad that showcases the band's ability to create emotional and powerful music.

Throughout the album, Diamonds' lead vocalist delivers stunning performances that are both soulful and powerful. The band's musicianship is also on full display, with each member bringing their unique talents to the table to create a sound that is truly exceptional.

About The Diamonds

The Diamonds are a Canadian vocal quartet that rose to prominence in the 1950s and early 1960s. Formed in 1953 the group has had a number of line-up changes and is still active. Original members: Phil Levitt (Baritone vocals, born July 9, 1935) Ted Kowalski (Tenor vocals, born May 16, 1931, died August 8, 2010) Bill Reed (Bass vocals, born January 11, 1936, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, died October 22, 2004) Dave Somerville (Lead vocals, born October 2, 1933, died July 14, 2015) In 1958 Phil Leavitt retired and was replaced by Michael Douglas, and, in the following year, two Californians, Evan Fisher and John Felton took over from Bill Reed and Ted Kowalski.

A much better reading of the song than the Solitaires 1956 original which had disappeared from play by early '57. Mercury held off releasing The Diamond's late '57 version until September 1958, a wise move as The Solitaires version was long foirgotten by then. The Diamond's recording hit it big on both the Billboard and Cashbox charts, in complete contrast to the original which failed to make it to either chart.
